The bath at Eleshnitsa and its healing powers
West of the village of Eleshnitsa, there is the spa and healing center of Eleshnisha Bath at the Sveta Varvara mineral spring. The spring is located on the banks of Mesta River, right next to the road connecting Eleshnitsa to the second-class road Razlog – Velingrad. The locality is quite picturesque as the river flows wide at this point.
The main building of the bath stands on the left bank of the river across the road. A small chapel has been constructed on the right bank of the river by the spring. It can be reached from the road and bath via a rope bridge across the river.
The water is very good for spa treatment and prophylaxis.
